2. What Christ did for us:
a. He died for us (1 Jn. 3:16; Tit. 2:14).

c. He opened up a new and living way for us (Hb. 10:20).
d. He became a forerunner for us (Hb. 6:20).
e. He intercedes for us (Rm. 8:34).
3. Evidence that God is for us:

I. HE SPARED NOT HIS OWN SON.

A. He gave the very best (Gen. 22:2, 12; Jn. 3:16).
B. He did not hold back the due penalty for our sins (Is. 53:6; Hb. 2:9; Mt. 27:34; Rm. 8:39).

II. HE DELIVERED HIM UP FOR US ALL.

A. The Father gave up His Son (Acts 2:23; Mt. 26:52-54; Lk. 22:44, 42).

C. He delivered Him up for us all.
