Introduction:

A. Nothing is quite so obvious as the hand of God in His creation.

B. “The hand of God” is a precious and cherished concept for the child of God.

Jer. 18:6; 1 Kgs. 18:46; 2 Pet. 1:21).

B. The hand of God supplies us (Ph. 4:19; 2 Cor. 9:8; Mt. 6:33; Eph. 3:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:16-
17; Ezra 7:6; Neh. 2:8).

C. The hand of God protects us (Ps. 34;7; 37:24; Jn. 10:28; Rm. 8:31).

D. The hand of God rewards us (Hb. 11:6; Is. 40:10; Rev. 22:12).

II. The Hand of God Works in Negative Ways.

A. The hand of God works in judgment against the nations.

Egypt (Ex. 3:20; Dt. 4:34; 5:15)

Philistia (1 Sam. 5:6, 9)

Israel (Dt. 2:15; Jed. 2:15; Is. 40:2)

David (1 Chr. 21:1-3, 7, 12-13)

Elymas (Acts 13:7-12; 14:12; Hb. 10:31)

Conclusion:

A. There is still time to change (Is. 59:1; 1 Pet. 5:6).

B. The time to change is today (2 Cor. 6:2).
