Something to Offer (12/31/17)

Introduction:

A. Every Christian is a priest (1 Pet. 2:4-5).

B. Priests must have something to offer (Heb. 8:3).

C. Offerings are presentations to God (2 Sam. 24:24).

I. The Principle Question: “What Shall I Offer?”

A. It is a natural question in light of His blessings (Ps. 116:12; Mic. 6:6).

B. Only the blinded and callous neglect this question (2 Cor. 4:3-4; Acts 17:25).

C. The ten lepers were healed by Jesus (Lk. 17: 2 Tim. 3:1-5; 2 Pet 1:8-9).

II. The Principle Concern: “Will My Offering Be Acceptable?”

A. Psalm 19:14

B. Hebrews 13:15-16; Psalm 116:17

C. Philippians 4:18

D. Micah 6:6-8

E. Romans 12:1-2

F. Will my offering be acceptable to God? (Gen. 4:2-7).

G. What we present to God as an offering has great impact.
