I. Daily Responsibility to Search for Wisdom

A. Wisdom personified (Prov. 8:34 cf. Jas. 1:5)

B. Our search for wisdom will be unfruitful unless we search the Scriptures
(2 Tim. 3:15; Acts 17:11).

II. Daily Responsibility to Pray

A. Effective prayer requires consistent devotion (Col. 4:2; 1 Th. 5:17; Acts 2:42).

B. Effective prayer requires daily devotion (Ps. 88:9; 145:2; Dan. 6:10).

C. Recognize opportunities through Bible study and prayer.

III. Daily Responsibility to Count the Cost

A. Counting the cost is a daily decision (Lk. 9:23; 1 Pet. 2:24).

B. Are you ready to die for Jesus? Not if you are unwilling to live for Him
(Gal. 2:20).

C. Not making the daily decision to live for Jesus is making the decision to live for someone or something else.

IV. Daily Responsibility to Fellowship

A. Fellowship takes place on a daily basis (Acts 2:46; Hb. 3:13).

B. Look for daily opportunities (Hb. 10:24-25).

C. Accept the challenge.

V. Daily Responsibility to Reach Out to Others

A. The early church grew daily (Acts 16:5; 2:46-47).

B. The early church taught daily (Acts 5:42; Lk. 19:47).
