I. GOD TAKES OUR REQUESTS SERIOUSLY.

A. How would you feel if I told you that it is possible for you to have your heart’s desire and that God would make all your plans succeed? (Ps. 20:4).

B. How would you feel if I told you that God has a plan for your life—a plan for prosperity and hope for the future? (Jer. 29:11; Rm. 8:28).

C. How would you feel if I told you that you can handle any circumstance, no matter how difficult, and come forth victoriously? (Ph. 4:13; Eph. 3:20; Rm. 8:37-39).

II. CONDITIONS TO GOD’S PROMISES MUST BE MET.

A. We must ask (Ps. 20:4 cf. 20:1, 9; Mt. 7:11; Jas. 4:2).

B. We must ask in faith (Jas. 1:5-8; Mt. 21:21-22; Mk. 11:22-24; Jas. 5:16).

C. We must be drawn into the will of God (Ps. 37:4; Acts 13:22; Ps. 40:8; 119:47; Heb. 10:9; 12:2; Lk. 22:42; 1 Jn. 5:14-15; Jn. 4:34; Jas. 4:14-17; Ps. 37:3-5).

D. We must fear the Lord (Ps. 145:19-20; Prov. 1:7; 9:10; Jn. 10:10; Eccl. 12:13-14).
