To our graduating seniors, we offer these seven bits of wisdom from the book of Proverbs:
- “Honor the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce…” (Prov. 3:9).
- “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slack hand will be put to forced labor” (Prov. 12:24).
- “The one who guards his mouth preserves his life; the one who opens wide his lips come to ruin” (Prov. 13:3).
- “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm” (Prov. 13:20).
- “Better is a little with righteousness than great income with injustice” (Prov. 16:8).
- “Wrath is fierce and anger is a flood, but who can stand before jealousy?” (Prov. 27:4).
- “He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion” (Prov. 28:13).
When applied to our lives, these passages will help all of us truly live the full and abundant life!
